| Jen Cox grew up in Lake Forest, Illinois amongst one of the top show stables in the country. She began showing at the age of four and competed successfully in Pony Hunters, Junior and Amateur Hunters, Equitation and Jumpers.
Some of her accomplishments include Illinois Hunter/Jumper Assoc. Equitation Champion, Wisconsin Rookie Rider Award and Best Sportsmanship Award from Barrington Horse Show. Her past trainers include Rickey Harris, Ronnie Beard, Larry Glefkle, Tim Goguen, Michael Dorman, NancyWhitehead and Margie Hough. Jen traveled out west to work for Jim Dalquist for a year and a half as his assistant trainer. After developing her own program in the Northwest, Jen’s clients have received many year end awards such as the 2005 Oregon Hunter/Jumper Assoc Adult Medal winner and OHJA Res. Champion Regular Working Hunter twice.
Training clients, developing young horses and competing at the “A” shows on the West Coast keeps Jen busy. She welcomes new customers into her program and looks forward to new challenges.
